Lawrence Richmond is the Chair of CHAF. Lawrence brings to CHAF significant agricultural knowledge and business management skill. Lawrence currently has agricultural interests in New South Wales, the Ukraine and South America.

Cr Rod May Rod is a representative of the Hepburn Shire. He is a partner in the family organic farm producing certified organic vegetables, meat and wine.


Jim Frazer is Deputy Chair of CHAF and an engineer who farms outside Bacchus Marsh. Jim brings significant expertise to CHAF in water use and management,  innovative business development, engineering design, macro algae production and use.

Marianne Dunham LL.B. (Tas), Legal Workshop (ANU), Master of Science and Technology Commercilisation (Adelaide and Texas) farms in the Hepburn Shire at Kooroocheang has extensive experience in the commercialisation of intellectual property and in the development of brands, in both cases, often from the earliest stages, right through to commercial success and maturity and from Australia to larger markets overseas. She is also a mediator and takes a problem-solving approach to complex disputes in the intellectual property area.
Chris Manders is the CHAF Treasurer and was raised on a  farm in the Yarra Valley where he was keen to continue a career in agriculture. Chris is the Rural Finance Regional Officer in Ballarat
Ray Davies is the Economic Development Manager for Pyrenees Shire

Andrew Young brings to CHAF extensive experience as a business development and innovation consultant. Andrew lives and works on his property near Clunes.
Steph Hodgins May is an environmental lawyer and fifth generation family member & partner at Captains Creek Organic Farm in Blampied. Steph's interest in international diplomacy led her to work on international development resolutions at the United Nations in New York where she saw issues of food security & more resilient farming practices and noted the opportunities for local action. Steph sees a strong connection between sustainable agriculture, bioenergy and the need to work towards a renewable energy future in the face of human induced climate change.

 

Jo Curkpatrick is part of the CHAF Executive body and brings to CHAF her significant experience as a media and communications consultant. Jo lives and works from her farm on the outskirts of Ballarat.

Cr Peter Dark is currently serving as a Councillor in the Southern Grampians Shire. He is a fine wool producer from Mirrinatwaand brings to CHAF a wide experience in agricultuare and sustainable environment organisations. Peter was Chair of the Glenelg Hopkins CMA where he contributed to regional environmental issues. He advocates that sustainability also requires improving productive capacity.

Mark McDonald Ba. Ag Sci, Dip Ag Economics, Dip Computer Science farms near Meredith bring to CHAF an extensive strategic planning and broad industry understanding for his executive experience in the wool, saleyards and research farm sectors.
David Fisken  has broad experience in Local Government, as a Shire Councillor, as a past mboard member of Central Highlands Water and has served as a member of the University of Ballarat Board. David brings outstanding governance and management practice to CHAF as well has his extensive farm forestry experience.

Leon Underwood is the Industry Development Officer with the City of Ballarat.

Cr Tom Sullivan farms on the outskirts of Ballarat in the Moorabool Shire where he serves the community as a Councillor. Tom is passionate about land use planning and is an advocate for profitable land use.
Allan Reid Allan is the principle of Reid Rural Solutions and representative of Australian Botanicals in the Central Highlands. Allan is the Chair of the CHAF Ballarat Grammar Agribusiness Teaching and Demonstration farm.
Ian Munro is the founder and Director of Munash Fertilisers and has never been far from agribusiness. Passionate about the opportunities of natural fertilisers and soil health, Ian is Deputy Chair of the CHAF Ballarat Grammar Agribusiness Teaching and Demonstration farm.
Cathy Mulligan is a Department of Primary Industries Field Officer in Market Access sector of Victorian Farm Services.
Image Prof. Peter Vinden Melbourne University, Peter is a research scientist with expertise is in the Timber and Forestry industry.

Patrick Murphy is Executive Officer of CHAF. His role is to implement the CHAF Strategic Direction and Business Plan. Pat has a passionate interest in building agribusiness through trade development and land use in the Central Highlands and the South West of Victoria.

Pat has owned several food and land management businesses, Originally working as a chef, Pat is a Churchill Fellow and has qualifications in Agricultural Biotechnology, Food Technology and teaching.
